Ms. Schaefer has been licensed in the State of New Mexico since 2005.  She earned her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota in 1998.  Since then, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults as an independently licensed clinical social worker.  Her practice settings have included state agencies and private clinics in Minneapolis, New York City, and New Mexico.   Just prior to joining EDINMSM, Ms. Schaefer worked as an integrative behavioral health clinician for Presbyterian Medical Group. She is grounded in behavioral medicine and brings a well-rounded bio- psycho-social perspective to her work with eating disorders.
